With a capacity of 1,000 m³/hour
The Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations visited the Tikrit Water Project in Salah al-Din Governorate. The project has a production capacity of 1,000 cubic meters per hour.
The delegation reviewed the progress of the project, which is 25% complete. It includes the construction of three concrete basins (for sedimentation, collection, and siltation), in addition to a suction structure on the Tigris River equipped with (9) suction and discharge pumps and (7) water treatment filters.
The project is considered a vital service project serving a large number of villages, sub-districts, and the Tikrit District, while rehabilitation and development work continues according to approved technical procedures.
