His Excellency the Chairman of the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin Al-Jubouri, met with the Chairman of the Federal Board of Supreme Audit, the Certified Public Accountant, Dr. Ammar Subhi, today at the Board's headquarters in Baghdad.
During the meeting, His Excellency discussed several important issues related to the mechanisms of oversight work, emphasizing the Fund's commitment to all necessary legal procedures to ensure sound performance and follow-up of all basic requirements for oversight work.
His Excellency explained that the Fund is keen to cooperate fully with the Board of Supreme Audit and places transparency and integrity at the forefront of its priorities by providing the required data and reports accurately and in a timely manner, enhancing effective oversight and ensuring the optimal use of resources. For his part, Chartered Accountant Dr. Ammar Sobhi praised the Fund's efforts in implementing service projects in the affected areas, stressing the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between the two institutions to achieve the highest standards of performance and compliance. At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to enhance joint cooperation through the exchange of expertise and the holding of training workshops aimed at developing personnel and enhancing performance, thus contributing to supporting reconstruction efforts and achieving sustainable development in the affected areas.
