Employees of the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations celebrated Iraqi National Day on Thursday, October 3rd, which marks the anniversary of Iraq's declaration of independence, its accession to the League of Nations, and the world's recognition of its sovereignty.
Following the directives of the Chairman of the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin Al-Jubouri, the Iraqi national anthem was played and patriotic songs were sung, embodying the meanings of belonging and unity, amidst an atmosphere filled with pride in national history and remembrance of the great sacrifices made by Iraqis for the sake of freedom, sovereignty, and reconstruction.
Fund employees emphasized that this timeless national occasion represents a renewed motivation to continue working on reconstruction and building projects that consolidate Iraq's unity and enhance its stability and prosperity.
