The Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations completed 27 school buildings in several liberated governorates during the years 2023-2025 as part of the Fund's school rehabilitation and construction projects implemented across all affected governorates.
This achievement is part of the Fund's plan to improve educational outcomes and provide a safe and integrated learning environment for students. These schools were built according to modern engineering standards that take into account quality and efficiency in construction and design.
The Fund's Engineering and Technical Affairs Department explained that the completed projects are part of the 60 schools included in the annual plan, distributed among the governorates of Nineveh, Anbar, Salah al-Din, Diyala, and Kirkuk. It noted that 33 more schools are under construction. The Engineering and Technical Department emphasized that these projects represent a significant step in the reconstruction process and the return of normal life to liberated areas, given their direct impact in supporting the educational process and building an educated generation that will contribute to the country's continued development.
