The Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations continues to implement its service projects within Nineveh Governorate as part of its plan to support the education sector and rehabilitate the infrastructure of educational institutions damaged during the period of terrorist operations.In this context, work continues on the demolition and reconstruction of a 16-classroom school with dedicated spaces in the Al-Kuba area of Tel Keif District. This is considered one of the vital projects dedicated to serving the children of the area and providing a suitable learning environment for students.
The project is being implemented based on the directives of His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund, Engineer Saad Amin Faisal, who always emphasizes the need to expedite the completion of service projects according to approved technical specifications and in a way that meets the needs of citizens in liberated areas.
The engineering and technical staff at the Fund's Nineveh branch are monitoring all aspects of the work on the ground to ensure optimal implementation and adherence to the established work plans. The ground floor slab was poured at the project site after all necessary construction preparations were completed, while the remaining work continues at a satisfactory pace, reflecting the commitment of the implementing companies and those involved with the Fund.
Initial estimates indicate that the current completion rate is ahead of schedule, reflecting the high level of organization and precision in the project's execution.
Upon completion, the project aims to provide a fully equipped, modern school building with spacious classrooms and suitable service facilities, in addition to improving the learning environment to be safer for students and teaching staff in the area.
This project is part of a series of projects implemented by the Reconstruction Fund in Nineveh Governorate, encompassing the education, roads, water, municipalities, and health sectors, within the framework of the government's ongoing efforts to restore normalcy to cities and villages affected by terrorism.
