The Chairman of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations Meets with a World Bank Delegation

His Excellency, the Chairman of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin Al-Jubouri, met today with a World Bank delegation comprised of Mr. Emmanuel and Ms. Sophie, in the presence of the Head of the Contracts Department at the Fund, Engineer Mohammed Qasim.

During the meeting, the implementation phases of projects funded by the World Bank were discussed and reviewed. His Excellency was briefed on the outcomes of previous meetings held with the Ministries of Planning and Finance. The meeting also addressed establishing a mechanism for the World Bank team working with the Fund to transfer lessons learned across the various phases of implementing the Emergency and Additional Loan projects.

The meeting also emphasized the importance of joint coordination between the Fund and the beneficiary entities in the ministries and governorates to identify the challenges facing each project individually and to develop mechanisms for addressing them with the support and assistance of the World Bank, thereby contributing to accelerating progress and achieving the desired objectives.
