His Excellency, the Chairman of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin Al-Jubouri, chaired the first meeting of the Board of Trustees for 2026, which was held today in the meeting hall of the Ministry of Health in Baghdad.
The meeting was attended by the governors of Baghdad, Anbar, Diyala, and Kirkuk, as well as the undersecretaries of the Ministries of Migration and Displacement, Health, Construction and Housing, and Electricity, the Vice Chairman of the Fund, representatives of the Secretaries-General of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, a representative of the Kurdistan Region, and senior staff of the Fund.
During the meeting, His Excellency discussed the fourth quarter report for 2025, which included the Fund's key activities for the last three months (October, November, and December), along with proposals and recommendations on the agenda related to service projects in the liberated governorates.
His Excellency affirmed the Fund's continued commitment to rehabilitating and developing government institutions in the liberated governorates and improving public services. This aims to contribute to the development of infrastructure, including buildings, roads, and various government sectors that serve citizens.
He also emphasized that investing in the staff working on service projects positively impacts performance and quality of work.
He stressed the importance of providing the Fund with accurate information before any project is submitted to avoid potential obstacles and ensure projects are completed within the approved timeframes.
