The Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations has completed two vital water projects in Nineveh Governorate. These projects involved the rehabilitation and expansion of the new Ajhala and Martyr Ahmed Hassan water complexes in the Qayyarah district. This is part of its plans to strengthen infrastructure and improve the level of basic services in liberated areas. The two projects were implemented under the guidance of His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin Al-Jubouri, and with close field supervision and monitoring by the Fund's staff in Nineveh Governorate, in coordination with the Resident Engineer's Office. The work included rehabilitating existing units, expanding the production capacity of the two complexes, upgrading operational systems, and introducing modern equipment to enhance efficiency and ensure continuity of operations. Each complex has a production capacity of 200 cubic meters per hour, adhering fully to the approved standard specifications for water projects. This ensures the provision of high-quality drinking water that meets the needs of citizens in Qayyarah and the surrounding areas. These projects will directly contribute to improving the water supply and alleviating the suffering of residents, especially given the challenges faced by infrastructure due to damage sustained during terrorist operations. This achievement represents a significant step towards restoring stability and normalcy to the region.

The Fund affirms its commitment to continuing to implement more service projects across various sectors, particularly water and sanitation, to improve the level of services provided to citizens in liberated areas.
