Following the directives of His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund, the paving of internal streets in Tikrit has commenced to improve public services. Based on the directives of His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin al-Jubouri, the Fund has begun paving internal streets in Tikrit District, Salah al-Din Governorate, as part of its ongoing plan to develop infrastructure and improve the level of services provided to citizens.
The project includes scraping, compacting, and preparing the base layers, followed by asphalt paving, all under the direct supervision of the Fund's engineering and technical staff and in accordance with approved technical specifications to ensure quality execution and service sustainability.
This project comes in response to the needs of densely populated residential areas, contributing to facilitating vehicle movement, reducing traffic congestion, and alleviating the suffering of residents, especially during the rainy season. The supervising authorities confirmed that work is proceeding at an accelerated pace according to the established schedules, while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety. They noted that this work is part of a package of service projects being implemented by the Fund in Salah al-Din Governorate with the aim of rebuilding the affected areas.
