In accordance with the directives of His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin Al-Jubouri, the Fund is continuing its work on the internal roads project in the areas of Abu Gharjah, Al-Mushairifah, and Al-Najatiyah, which are part of Dibis District in Kirkuk Governorate. This project is part of the Fund's plan to develop infrastructure and improve services in liberated areas.
The project is witnessing significant progress, with engineering and technical teams continuing their fieldwork at an accelerated pace and under direct supervision to ensure adherence to approved technical specifications. The work includes laying base layers, leveling, and pouring concrete for the internal roads, ensuring durability and mitigating the damage previously suffered by the roads.
The current completion rate has reached 35%, with work continuing according to the established schedules. The Fund is committed to expediting the implementation process without compromising quality, in accordance with modern engineering standards. This project comes within the framework of the Fund’s ongoing efforts to rebuild and rehabilitate the affected areas and improve the internal road network, which contributes to facilitating the movement of citizens, supporting economic activity, raising the level of services provided to the people, as well as enhancing stability and creating a suitable environment for the return of normal life to these areas.
