Based on the directives of His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund, The Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations continues its work on the water network project in Kirkuk Governorate. The Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations continues to implement the water network project in Al-Abbasi District, Kirkuk Governorate, as part of its plans to improve infrastructure and provide essential services to citizens. Based on the directives of His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund, Engineer Saad Amin Al-Jubouri, the engineering and technical staff have intensified their efforts to improve the quality and type of materials used in the project.
The project includes laying a 10-inch diameter ductile iron pipe to the villages of Al-Arsa, Al-Mutawakkil, and Al-Hamdaniya, in addition to completing the main transmission line of the Tigris River water project using a 16-inch diameter ductile iron pipe, as well as laying a 10-inch diameter polyethylene pipe to Al-Namla village in Al-Abbasi District. The Fund's engineering and technical teams are monitoring the progress of the work on the ground, ensuring adherence to approved technical specifications and established timelines. This aims to enhance the stability of the drinking water supply and improve the level of services provided to residents in the beneficiary areas.
This project is part of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations' efforts to support the water sector and basic services in Kirkuk Governorate, contributing to improved service delivery and meeting citizens' needs.
