The meeting addressed several important issues related to the status of service and development projects in Anbar Governorate and mechanisms for supporting vital sectors, primarily infrastructure projects, roads, bridges, water and sewage, in addition to education, health, and municipal services projects.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and joint coordination between the Fund's administration and the local government in Anbar in order to accelerate the pace of project implementation and remove obstacles hindering progress, thus ensuring the provision of the best services to citizens and achieving advanced completion rates within the established plans. The progress of several ongoing projects was reviewed, and the province's future needs were discussed, along with the possibility of including new projects that would contribute to supporting stability and improving services and infrastructure in various areas of Anbar.
For his part, the Governor of Anbar praised the role of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations in implementing vital projects within the province, emphasizing that these projects have clearly contributed to supporting reconstruction efforts, rehabilitating infrastructure, and improving the level of services provided to citizens.
The Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations continues to implement its plans and projects in the liberated provinces according to a vision aimed at strengthening and supporting stability and rehabilitating essential sectors.
