Based on the directives of His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund, the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations continues work on the rehabilitation and completion of the second lane of the Mansouriya-Dali Abbas road in Diyala Governorate.The Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations continues work on the rehabilitation and completion of the second lane of the Mansouriya/Dali Abbas road, Baquba Airport intersection, with a length of 13.75 km, in addition to maintenance work on a 10.5 km section of the main Mansouriya-Dali Abbas road. These projects are part of the Fund's initiatives to develop the road network and improve the flow of traffic between areas of Diyala Governorate.

Based on the directives of His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund, Engineer Saad Amin Al-Jubouri, the engineering and technical staff of the Fund's branch in Diyala Governorate are intensifying their efforts to complete the technical work. The project includes completing the return lane by laying a 20 cm thick layer of compacted gravel, followed by pouring a 25 cm thick layer of reinforced concrete reinforced with two layers of BRC (British Reinforced Concrete). The road will then be paved with a 5 cm thick surface layer according to approved technical specifications.

The work also includes the construction of culverts and manholes, shoulder construction, and traffic furniture, all of which contribute to enhancing road safety and improving the efficiency of the service road.On the maintenance side, the work on the Mansouriya-Dali Abbas main road includes milling, laying the leveling and surface layers, and laying a 6 cm thick binder course. This work also includes road marking and shoulder construction to extend the road's lifespan and improve service for citizens and vehicles.

This project is part of the Reconstruction Fund's efforts to develop infrastructure and improve basic services in line with development requirements and to support transportation between the districts and sub-districts of the governorate.
