The Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations has completed the project to supply materials for developing the electrical grid for villages in eastern Nineveh.
Based on the directives of His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund, Engineer Saad Amin Faisal Al-Jubouri, the Fund continues to achieve its accomplishments in the electricity sector by completing the project to supply materials for developing the electrical grid for villages in eastern Nineveh, as part of the Fund's efforts to support infrastructure and improve the level of basic services in liberated areas. The project included supplying the necessary materials to develop the electrical grid in several areas of Nineveh Governorate, including the Hamdaniya Center, Bartella, Nimrud, Salamiyah, Kasr, Shamsiyat, Kuwair, Kabarli, Kharaba Sultan, Karamles, Tell al-Laban, Majidiya, Qritagh, and Qarqasha. This will contribute to increasing the grid's efficiency and improving the stability of the electricity supply for residents.
This project is considered vital and important for the governorate due to its significant role in strengthening the electricity system and alleviating bottlenecks in the network, particularly in areas that have witnessed population growth and a growing return of families following liberation operations. This has positively impacted the increased electrical load and the need to develop the energy infrastructure.
