In a field visit, the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations continues to monitor the road rehabilitation project linking Bab al-Sham checkpoint and al-Kask junction in Nineveh Governorate.In implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin Faisal al-Jubouri, to follow up and dedicate efforts to completing the rehabilitation project of the 35.5 km round-trip road linking Bab al-Sham checkpoint and al-Kask junction, with special attention and follow-up, as it is one of the strategic projects supporting border crossings and a vital artery directly linked to the country's economic system, Engineer Muhammad Muhi Shintaf, Head of the Engineering and Technical Affairs Department, conducted a field visit to the project to review the progress of work and follow up on the obstacles facing its implementation. The visit included a meeting at the Resident Engineer's office for the project, attended by senior engineering staff from the Fund, engineers from the Resident Engineer's office, and representatives from the implementing company. During the meeting, the progress achieved was reviewed, and technical and administrative observations related to the work's progress were discussed.
The importance of the project and the need to expedite its completion were emphasized. It was also agreed that the relevant departments within the Fund would give the project special priority to address and follow up on the technical details raised, thereby helping to overcome obstacles and ensure the project's implementation according to the approved technical specifications and timelines.
