In accordance with the directives of His Excellency the Chairman of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin Faisal Al-Jubouri, the Fund has completed the rehabilitation project for the eastern entrance to Al-Karabla District in Al-Qaim District, Anbar Governorate. The project, spanning 2400 meters in length and 40 meters in width, will improve traffic flow, present a more modern and aesthetically pleasing image, and enhance the basic infrastructure.

The project included removing the old asphalt layer, laying and compacting sub-base layers using engineering methods that take into account the weight and elevation of the road, paving, widening the road, pouring sidewalks, constructing curbs, and installing decorative lighting poles in the medians and curb edges. The project also included electrical work, installing high-quality decorative lighting poles in the medians to enhance safety and security, provide clear nighttime visibility for road users, and reduce traffic accidents. The Fund’s technical and engineering staff emphasize their continuous follow-up, supervision and monitoring of all projects implemented by the Fund in various vital sectors that serve the largest segment of citizens in Anbar Governorate and the liberated governorates.
