Al-Jubouri Affirms Continued Support for Service Projects and Completion of Requirements for Future Projects

His Excellency, the Head of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin al-Jubouri, met today, Wednesday, with the Governor of Salah al-Din, Mr. Haitham al-Zahwan, at the Governorate headquarters, to discuss several files related to reconstruction programs and work priorities for the next phase.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs, the Director of Planning, several members of the Governorate Council, senior staff from the Reconstruction Fund, directors of municipalities and sewage departments, and a number of officials from the Governorate.

The attendees reviewed the status of ongoing projects, the percentage of completion achieved, and the most prominent challenges facing some projects. They discussed appropriate measures to address these challenges, ensuring the completion of work according to technical requirements and within the specified timeframes.

His Excellency, the Head of the Fund, affirmed that supporting projects related to citizens' needs is a priority in the Fund's plans. He emphasized the importance of joint work with local authorities to overcome obstacles and ensure that efforts and resources are directed towards the most needed and impactful projects for the community. His Excellency also directed the follow-up on the requirements for future projects and coordination between the Fund's senior staff and relevant authorities in the governorate. This aims to create the appropriate conditions for efficient implementation and enhance the accuracy of planning and the quality of outputs.

For his part, the Governor of Salah al-Din commended the Fund's efforts in implementing and rehabilitating a number of vital projects, affirming the local government's readiness to provide the necessary support and strengthen cooperation to bolster reconstruction plans and serve the governorate's residents.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to continue coordination and hold regular meetings among the relevant parties to follow up on priority files and take the necessary actions regarding them.

This meeting is part of the Reconstruction Fund's efforts to strengthen partnerships with local governments and translate reconstruction plans into projects that have a direct impact on improving infrastructure and raising the level of services provided to citizens.
