In accordance with the directives of the Head of the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, Engineer Saad Amin Faisal Al-Jubouri, the Fund has completed the demolition and reconstruction of the Al-Qubba School for Girls. The facility, which features 16 classrooms, is located in the village of Al-Qubba in the Tel Kaif District of Nineveh Governorate and has entered service at the start of the new academic year.

As part of the ongoing monitoring of project implementation, the Director of the Fund’s Nineveh branch, Engineer Nashwan Mahjoub Mahmoud—accompanied by the branch’s engineering team—conducted a field visit to assess the progress of the work and the school’s readiness for occupancy.

The school comprises 16 classrooms and an administrative wing—including an office for the administration and two rooms for teachers—as well as sanitary facilities. It is also equipped with solar energy systems, surveillance cameras, and civil defense (fire safety) systems, and is furnished with modern school desks and equipment.

This project contributes to improving the educational environment in the village of Al-Qubba, alleviating overcrowding in other schools, and enhancing the capacity of educational institutions to accommodate female students. These efforts are part of the Fund’s broader mission to develop educational infrastructure and elevate the standard of services provided to citizens.
